The Miami Rainbowlers (formerly Monday Nite Mixers) has been providing a social outlet for Miami gay and lesbians for over 25 years. The bowling league originated in 1983 as part of the Sunshine Athletic Association (SAA). The SAA was an umbrella for many of the gay sporting leagues/teams, such as Bowling, Softball, Tennis, and many others. The Miami Rainbowlers have been bowling at Bird Bowl Lanes since its inception and is proud to its claim of being the first gay and lesbian bowling league in Miami officially sanctioned by the USBC (United States Bowling Congress).
The Miami Rainbowlers welcome you and your friends to come out and see what we’re all about. We create an environment of entertainment, friendships and competition that provide enjoyment for all who partake. More importantly, we provide a gay-friendly atmosphere that conveys a sense of unity.
